I like to use Vaseline on mine and my boyfriends uses chap stick.Effective lip moisturizer?
I like to use chapstick with exfoliant. Neutrogena has one that has little scrubby pearls in them and it comes in a berry flavor. Effective for my lips, they get very bad. I also found one from Bath and Bodyworks. They have a lip scuff and a lip butter to put on after you use the scuff.
Look for lip balms that have moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, etc. Chapstick has come out with an ';All Natural'; chapstick that I like a lot, it's in beige packaging and has all these moisturizing ingredients in it. I really like it. Blistex Gentle Sense has both shea butter and cocoa butter. Avon also has a moisturizing lip balm that's nice. Vaseline is always an option. My lips get dry, but during winter they get really, really dry and so to keep them from cracking, I've used the Original Creme version of Eucerin on them (well, the drug store generic version of Eucerin because I'm kind of cheap) and it worked really well.
Stay away from lip products with menthol, because it'll just dry them out.
Also, try out some of the thicker lip glosses and moisturizing lipsticks during the day.
real honey. buy a cheap lip gloss in a drug store, remove the gel and replace it with a real honey. it traditional, sweet, and guarantee no side effect and result is stunning!
i used maybelline...its soft, light and not too oily..
I suffer eczema and have very dry skin. See if this helps;
With a soft tissue or cloth, soak that in warm water and wipe your lips.
Dry your lips, then rub in some good quality soroblene cream with 10% glycerine.
Then apply a layer of Vaseline. Apply as much or as little Vaseline as you like. You may look a little shiny on the lips if you apply too much, but it'll protect your lips from chaffing or being too dry. Apply this combination a few times a day for a couple of days.
Also, try drinking a lot of water as often lack of water dries out your lips. And try not to lick your lips either! :)
If it doesn't start to get better in a few days, please see your doctor.
Hope your lips get better soon.
drink lots of water!
and also, blistex lip balm is great.
