Whats the difference between lipstick,lip balm,chapstick and lip gloss?????

and any other lip stuff.Whats the difference between lipstick,lip balm,chapstick and lip gloss?????
Lipstick is usually an opaque (not see-through) colour...although some of them can be somewhat sheer. Lipsticks can be matte, shimmery or sparkly. Lip balm has ingredients to soothe, heal and protect lips...it usually has no colour, but some of them have some shimmer or a light tint. Lip balms are the most likely to be scented. Chapstick is lipbalm..its just a name brand. Glosses make your lips shiny...they can sometimes be coloured, or have some shimmer or sparkle in them, and they too can be scented. There are also lip tints or stains, which you put on bare lips, and they will stain your lips that colour for a long time. Lip-liner is another one...its usually used under lip-stick or gloss to prevent it from leaking off lips, and to make it stay on longer. Lipstick is best for colour that makes a bold statement...your lips will be the standout feature. Tints are good for long-wearing colour that looks more natural. Glosses are the best to make your lips look juicier and somewhat bigger...they are also good if you prefer to paly up your eyes, but still want your lips to look made up. Lip balms are the best if you just want natural lips, but also want the moisture. Balms are also the best bet for activity...such as soccer, skiing, anything like that, because they often contain sunscreen and other ingredients to protect your lips from sun and wind damage.Whats the difference between lipstick,lip balm,chapstick and lip gloss?????

Lipstick has a color when you put it on and is for your lips, lip balm doesn't have color when you put it on, chapstick is sticky when you put it on, and lip gloss makes your lips look shiny when you put it on your lips. Report Abuse

Lip gloss is glossy and shiny. Lip balm and chapstick soften lips and cures chapped lips. Lip stick is very colorful. Lip gloss is the best, though! Report Abuse

lipblam/chapstick is for dry cracked lips. not considered makeup.
