thanksLip balm / chapstick?
You should try the regular Carmex in the little tub. It tastes bad so you won't lick it off, but it does the job by replenishing your lips and leaving a pleasant, cold tingle. It also fights against future chapped lips and cold sores.

Punky - Carmex is also used to heal chapped lips. I am recommending it because it doesn't have a very pleasant taste, so she won't be licking it off like she had said. She isn't looking for something yummy, she's looking to heal her lips and I don't blame her. Vaseline is actually what makes chapped lips worse because it's a BARRIER, not a moisturizer. Read a label sometime. It's Burt's Bees*, btw, which also has a tendency to be drying even though it's excellent if you're an avid reapplyer.

Quoted right from the Carmex container: ';CARMEX - For Cold Sores ...

Use Carmex for COLD SORES, FEVER BLISTERS, and CHAPPED LIPS. Apply evenly to affected parts.';Lip balm / chapstick?
CARMEX CARMEX IT REALLY WORKS
vaseline or Burt's Bees (work the best)

you cant beat not putting it on if you want your lips back to normal. dont get a flavoured kind because you'll always lick it off lol, and get something a bit oily so its somewhat water resistant.
DO NOT USE CARMEX. It will dry out your lips, not moisturize. It was invented to be used to dry out cold sores, not to moisturize lips. Use something with natural ingredients. I use Bert's Bee's and is a favorite among many friends and family. The original even has the tingle sensation that people love about Carmex, just not the habit forming horribleness.
Burts Bees Lip Balm ...it's great

BUT you need to stop licking them. Your salava is what causes chapped lips.
